Alice Mai '09

Economics major and real-estate-professional-turned-chef Alice Mai '09 was profiled in Eater LA this month.

Mai will be chef de cuisine for Attagirl, opening this spring in Hermosa Beach and featuring a California Mediterranean menu.

On Mai's Linkedin page, she notes, "After over six years of administrative experience, I gave up the office life in order to pursue a career in the culinary world. Having worked my way up from a stagiaire humbly picking petite herbs to executive chef and chef de cuisine over the past ten years, I can now be found wandering around the farmer's market and running the kitchens of Los Angeles' best restaurants!"
