Our monthly Zoom book club begins a three-month unit on California politics by discussing "Palo Alto: A History of California, Capitalism, and the World," by Malcolm Harris. This is the first comprehensive, global history of Silicon Valley, which examines how and why Northern California evolved in the particular, consequential way it did. Newcomers are always welcome!
