Inaugural 2025 Asian Pacific Alumni (APA) UCLA Mentor Program
Background
The inaugural APA UCLA Mentor Program seeks to foster meaningful relationships between recently graduated and graduating seniors and alumni. With a focus on personal and professional development, we aim to welcome our newest alumni and help them navigate the transition from student to alumnus.
This program will be hosted on the UCLA ONE platform. If you don’t have one already, you must create a UCLA ONE account by May 1, 2025. Please fill out your profile as completely as possible—especially the questions with drop-down menus—to ensure the best match.

- Create a UCLA ONE Profile (if you haven't already) by May 15, 2025

- Add a professional profile picture
- Make sure your notifications are toggled ON

- Wait for Your Match!
- If you’re matched, you’ll receive an email from UCLA ONE (notifications must be ON).
- Match notifications will be sent by May 21, 2025.
Join the APA Mentor Program Group
Select the “Asian Pacific Alumni Mentor Program” group on UCLA ONE — whether you’re offering or seeking mentorship — by May 15, 2025.

If You ARE Matched:
- You will be directed to the next steps in your "You’ve Been Matched!" email.
- Matched participants will be contacted by apaucla@alumni.ucla.edu for mentor/mentee orientation.
- All matched individuals will be added to the APA group on UCLA ONE by May 26, where you can receive timely updates and connect with other mentors and mentees. You may also receive program updates from apaucla@alumni.ucla.edu.
If You Are NOT Matched:
This is a pilot mentorship program that will be accepting a limited number of individuals. If you are not matched, you are eligible to reapply for the program next year.
