Jason Kim '89, J.D. '92

Blank Rome LLP Partner Jason Kim '89, J.D. '92 has been appointed co-chair of the Asian Business Association’s Board of Directors for the 2016 term. Along with his co-chair, he is committed to implementing new programs designed to meet the needs of Asian American businesses during his tenure.

Kim is a deal lawyer and his practice focuses on representing domestic and foreign companies, financial institutions, funds, serial entrepreneurs, and high net‐worth individuals in corporate and real estate transactions and financing, with special emphasis on cross‐border deals. He also serves as an adjunct professor at USC Gould School of Law and a director on the Board of Directors of the U.S.-Korea Law Foundation. Kim is also a member of the Statewide Small Business Council of the California Department of Transportation, Office of Business and Economic Opportunity and was selected in 2013 by the LA Consulate General of the Republic of Korea to serve as the international business transactions expert adviser to assist Korean small and medium enterprises investing or doing business in California.
