Nate Franklin

Nate Franklin is the president and chief executive officer of Tokyo-based Pacifico Energy. The company was founded in 2012, after the new Japanese Renewable Energy Act was introduced, and has been expanded into the largest PV developer in the market. Franklin established an investment vehicle in 2018 to expand renewable energy business by diversifying into Vietnam, South Korea and North America.

Before establishing Pacifico, Franklin worked as director of solar development at BP, and as vice president of an alternative energy at Jaco Oil. He was born in California, is married to Tawni and has two sons and two daughters.
