Anel Lopez Gorham ’98

While Anel Lopez Gorham ’98 started her career as a series regular on the television show The Adventures of A.R.K., she is most widely known for her scene-stealing recurring role as Poppita Fresh on Ryan Murphy’s WB Series, Popular.

After taking time off to raise a family with fellow actor and husband Christopher Gorham ’96 (Covert Affairs, Ugly Betty) she portrayed series regular Ruby on the Fox pilot Damaged Goods, guest starred on Felicity, was featured in the UPN pilot Old School, with John Krasinski and Jorge Garcia, and appeared in the Ryan Murphy WB pilot St. Sass.

Lopez Gorham deftly made the transition from school girl to knock-out in the independent films Easy Six, opposite Julian Sands and James Belushi, and Blues with Sydney Tamilia Poitier.

Lopez Gorham is a graduate of the UCLA Department of Theater, Film and Television and is the mother of three.
