Angelo Mathay '07, J.D. '12

Angelo Mathay '07, J.D. '12, has been appointed by Governor Roy Cooper of North Carolina to the state's Human Relations Commission. Mathay works as an administrative judge for the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In Washington, D.C., he worked as an associate policy analyst for the Migration Policy Institute and as a D.A.C.A. Law Fellow for the National Immigration Law Center.

The North Carolina Human Relations Commission advocates, enforces, and promotes equality of opportunity in the areas of housing, fair employment practices, public accommodations, education, justice, and governmental services.
