Professor Emerita Margaret Kivelson is an American space physicist, planetary scientist and a pioneer woman of science in her field. Her primary research focuses on the magnetospheres of Earth, Jupiter and Saturn and the moons of Jupiter. For over 40 years she has been an active part of every major NASA exploration, including the
Galileo, Themis, Cassini and JUICE missions. At age 93 she continues to inspire with her knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching and the exploration of space.
