FAQ

How do I participate?

It is easy to participate. Just sign up at our registration link by clicking here.

What do I need to participate?

Given we are all doing our part to be #SaferAtHome, you will need a device with internet access. Most of our activities will be offered on three platforms: Instagram, Zoom and via telephone. We suggest downloading Instagram and Zoom prior to April 13. We will all be doing this from home, so please feel free to come dressed comfortably!

Who should participate?

Everyone who is interested in understanding perspectives from these alumni groups is welcome to participate in our Diversity Insight Days. Those that identify as African American/Black, American Indian, Asian American, Latin@/x, LGBTQ+, multiracial, Pilipin@/x, undocumented or want an identity-based perspective should attend.

May my family participate?

Yes — if you want them to! We know making your college choice is a family decision. We would love to meet them too!

What is a UCLA alum?

Alumni are graduates of UCLA. They come from all walks of life, majored in many different areas and currently work in various industries. UCLA has over 500,000 living alumni and many volunteer their time and talents to ensure you have a great UCLA experience. When you become alumni, we hope you will do the same!

Who should I contact if I have questions?

College Tip #1: It is OK to ask for help. We all would not have been as successful at UCLA if we had not learned how to seek and ask for help. If you run into any issues during these days please contact us.
