Blue membership is based on an annual contribution of $100 to the UCLA Alumni Association or select UCLA Alumni Scholarship funds.
Gold membership is based on a one-time gift to the Alumni Association or select UCLA Scholarship funds of $1,000 for new members or $600 for current Life members. Benefits from each tier carry into the higher levels.
Please visit our membership page to sign-up for membership today.

Do I still have access to the UCLA libraries?
Alumni Association members can obtain complimentary library cards at any UC system campus library. Your library card allows you to check out up to five books at a time for two weeks. Due to cost, inter-library loans are reserved for students and faculty.
While you may not access the online journal databases or the proxy server from home, you may use them if you are on campus using a library computer. If you would like to research articles online, a minimum of a Blue Level membership is required to gain access to select titles available through the ProQuest Research Library, an online journal database. Just send your name and membership ID number to proquest@alumni.ucla.edu and we will issue you a password.
Do you offer insurance?
As a UCLA graduate, you can take advantage of simplified and worry-free protection when it comes to securing essential auto, homeowners, life and health insurance. This protection is available to you at special member-only rates and discounts through Mercer Consumer, a service of Mercer Health & Benefits Administration LLC. To learn more and enroll, visit www.alumniplans.com/ucla or call 1-888-560-ALUM (2586).
Is there an additional cost for existing Life members?
Current Life members will remain Life members. Unlike Blue membership, there will be no additional costs to maintain your status. Life members do have the opportunity though, to upgrade to Gold Legacy with a one-time gift of $600.
Who do I contact if I have questions about my membership?

My children would love to attend UCLA. Does being an alumnus or a UCLA Alumni Association member give them any advantage in the application process?
Because UCLA is a state-supported school, the Admissions Office cannot take into consideration the alumni status of family members. This policy helps ensure that applicants who may be first-generation college students can compete fairly with those who have UCLA graduates in their family.
If I am searching for friends I went to UCLA with, how do I find them?
If you cannot find a person’s contact information, we welcome you to use our locator service. We are happy to forward correspondence on your behalf if we have current contact information in our database.
For more information or to see if someone’s information is in our database, please contact us at 310-825-2586 or alumni@alumni.ucla.edu. You can send us your letter along with a note containing as much information about the person (age, graduation year, major, etc.) as you can. If we have information on file, we will forward your letter. If not, we will return your letter to the address you provide. Send mail to: James West Alumni Center, Attn: Locator Services, 325 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90095-1397.
What is your membership refund policy?
Membership donations are gifts to the UCLA Foundation. By making a charitable gift to the University of California Los Angeles, a 501(c)(3) organization, the donor understands that charitable donations are not refundable.
Do corporate/matching gifts count towards membership upgrades?
While we encourage corporate/matching gifts, they do not qualify for upgrades to Blue or Gold UCLA Alumni Association membership.
How do I sign in and what is the benefit of doing so?
Signing in is a simple process that requires you to register with an email address, password and your alumni ID. You may also sign in using your Facebook or LinkedIn accounts. Signing in allows you to update your profile, change your password, print your membership card, search the alumni directory and subscribe to Alumni Networks that interest you.
