The downtown network represents a large and diverse number of alumni. This includes those who work in and around downtown as well as those who call it home - in some cases, both! Our desire is to ensure that all Bruins find a vibrant UCLA community in Downtown Los Angeles. We are always eager for fresh ideas and excited volunteers, so please contact us about opportunities to get involved!

Downtown Los Angeles is experiencing a period of dynamic economic, social and cultural growth. The UCLA Alumni Los Angeles Downtown Network was formed by Bruins that want to accelerate the university’s momentum in outreach, strengthening its partnerships and networks, and in raising awareness of the university's presence in the civic center. The Los Angeles Downtown network has five primary goals:

• To provide an opportunity for networking for UCLA graduates and friends in the Downtown LA community.
• To mentor and support UCLA graduates and friends in Downtown LA.
• To advance UCLA's presence in, and impact on, Downtown LA.
• To broadcast/promote UCLA programs in Downtown LA.
• To develop/sponsor additional UCLA programs that benefit Downtown LA, the Downtown LA UCLA community and UCLA.
